Applications are invited by World Vision International from qualified and deserving candidates for the job/vacancy of Nutrition and Health Technical Manager. The location of this job will be based in Harare-Zimbabwe. Please note that this position is on contractual basis for a period of 4 year.
Purpose of Position
The Nutrition and Health Manager will be responsible for integrating a comprehensive health and nutrition strategy across the program and this will include establishing activities that improve nutrition among pregnant or lactating women and children under five in all geographical areas selected for the program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required
- Masters degree in Nutrition or health
- A minimum of five years of overseas international health and nutrition experience is required
- Ideal candidates would have experience with Title II or USDA programmes.
- Demonstrated ability in managing project grants, including project design, budget preparation, expenditure tracking
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work with partners.
Preferred
- Work experience in Food Security Health and Nutrition preferred.
