World Vision Cambodia invites applications from experienced consultants for Consultancy Service on Baseline Study. The duration of this consultancy is 20 days starting from 18 February 2013. The location of this job is Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The Purpose of the Position
To access and document up-to-date information related to the indicators outlined in the approved proposal for the action and strategic documents related to national disaster management, guidelines, level of knowledge and capacity on disaster management at a sub-national level before implementing the project. The baseline study should identify the current state of play related to the project objectives, results and indicators, while developing methodology for measurement and verification of change achieved by the program.
Requirements
- Experience with and knowledge of baseline survey.
- Experience in participatory M&E, a focus on natural disasters is preferably.
- Experience with and knowledge of DRR approaches and CBDRM.
- Experience in the use of participatory HVCA tools or PRA field tools.
- Experience in capacity building and institutional development.
- Understanding on structure of National Committee of Disaster Management
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Good computer and English knowledge.
