World Vision International is seeking a Management Information Systems ( MIS ) Specialist,Savings Group Development and invites applications from qualified and deserving candidates. The location of this job will be based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Please note that this is a contractual, Family(Spouse with Children) position for a duration of 2 years.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required
- Bachelors Degree in Management Accounting, Economics or Business or relevant field.
- Extensive knowledge in MIS systems (technical operations and Management) in M&E.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication and writing skills is required. French fluency is preferred because of the work in francophone countries.
- Experience setting up, facilitating, and graduating an MIS system .
- Minimum of 2 years in a developing a field based MIS for implementation and evaluation in the field of economic development alongside other sectors.
Preferred
- Clear understanding of economic development issues their relationship to food and livelihood security and their contribution to child well-being.
- Some knowledge management experience as part of or leading the sharing of information experience and knowledge.
- Ability to communicate in French strengthens the job candidates chances
