The Conservation Leadership Programme (CLP) is currently accepting applications for the 2011 Conservation Awards.
The Conservation Awards is an opportunity for young conservationists to achieve their goals and move into positions of influence within the conservation sector. It will help them to develop the knowledge, skills and abilities of team members, implement high-priority conservation projects combining research and action and contribute to the long-term success of local conservation efforts.
There are three awards:
- Future Conservationist Awards (up to US $12,500 each)
- Conservation Follow-up Awards (up to US $25,000 each) – available only to previous CLP Future Conservationist Award winners
- Conservation Leadership Awards (up to US $50,000 each) – available only to previous CLP Follow-up Award winners
Applicants from Africa, Asia, Eastern and South-eastern Europe, the Middle East, the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean are eligible to apply for the Awards. There is an eligibility quiz to be taken up by the applicants before submitting the form.
