The International Reporting Project (IRP) has announced fellowship program for Reporting Trip on Poverty, Hunger and Food Security. The mission of this program is to discuss issues related to hunger, poverty, and food security and contribute to the international debate in the lead-up to World Food Day 2013.

Benefits-
- The IRP will purchase the Fellows’ round-trip air tickets to Tanzania, pay for hotel costs, meals and local transportation.
- The works produced as a result of the trip would be made available for posting on the social media channels of the IRP’s funders. The IRP new media reporting trips are supported by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Eligibility & Criteria-
Priority will be given to applicants from the United States, but new media journalists from all nations are eligible. New media journalists include media professionals, bloggers, influential social media practitioners, and freelance contributors.
