The British High Commission in Nairobi, Kenya has announced a new call for proposals for the Conflict, Security and Stabilisation Fund (CSSF) in East Africa.
The Conflict, Security and Stabilisation Fund (CSSF) is the UK Government’s programme that aims to create the conditions for global growth. Working closely with implementers and the UK’s network of overseas missions, the CSSF is supporting projects in fragile and conflict affected states, including Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania (East Africa).
As part of this, the countering radicalisation strand of the programme supports i) developing niche projects to help governments to in the region with their Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) response and ii) initiating pilot projects which will help us understand the challenges better and that can be scaled up where they work well.
Proposals will be accepted in any format but should include the following points clearly and succinctly, not exceeding five (5) pages:
- Context
- Proposed approach and anticipated results
- Indicative budget
- Potential risks
- Sustainability
- Capability of supplier
