The International Department at the British Medical Association (BMA) has a BMA Information fund to support organizations in developing countries by providing them with health information material.
The Information Fund run in association with the Teaching Aids at Low Cost (TALC) donates educational materials such as books and DVDs to healthcare workers and health-focused organizations in developing countries. Healthcare institutions, health NGOs, medical school libraries and other related organizations can receive support under this Fund.
In addition to the educational and training material support, the Fund also donates up to £2000 per application.
The Fund guidelines mention that “Due to the high delivery costs, applications are welcomed from UK organisations who have partnerships with overseas institutions.”
The deadline to submit application form and the booklist is 27 August 2010. For more information, visit this link.
