A call for applications has been issued for Women’s Observers to the UNAIDS Program Coordinating Board meeting scheduled from 6-8 December 2010 in Geneva.
If you are actively engaged in the response to HIV and AIDS; if you are engaged in the women’s movement and believe that the role of UNAIDS and the ten UN Cosponsors is an essential part of the action and solution to HIV and AIDS; if you believe that stronger linkages among HIV work at the global level, and the national and local levels are needed; and if you have creative and innovative ideas on how to share information with your constituents, then you can consider applying as a Women’s Observer for the upcoming PCT meeting.
The opportunity is available for energetic, innovative, self-motivated, committed and resourceful woman who can work under pressure both independently and as part of a team. Candidates living with HIV and those from the Global South are encouraged to apply. The observer will get an opportunity to meet regional delegates and support the work of the NGO delegation.
