OSCE/ODIHR BPRI is seeking proposals for for the Small Grant Applications within the project “Best Practices for Roma Integration” (BPRI). The goal of this program is to support implementation of selected projects which will improve the quality of life in Roma communities and facilitate access to rights of Roma population in the country.
Objectives–
- Enhance Roma participation in decision making of policies of their concern,
- Provide technical support to governments aiming to legalise or upgrade Roma settlements,
- Enhance Roma participation in public life, and
- Foster cross border co-ordination and initiatives improving Roma participation.
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is 20,000 EUR.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Be a local self-governance unit in co-operation with Roma NGO or other NGO working on Roma issues
- Be directly responsible for preparation, management and implementation of the project
- The small grant project manager should come from the Roma NGO and be hired by the local authority within the proposed project
