Although the focus of this Fund is on developing countries, only UK-based INGOs are eligible to apply. But partnership with local NGOs in South is critical and therefore, joint proposals can be suggested to any known UK-based nonprofits. DFID is currently accepting only concept notes and the format is available at the link given below. After the review of the concept notes, detailed proposals would be requested. Civil Society's Capacity Development Fund from DFID
DFID‘s (Department for International Development’s) next deadline for inviting concept notes for its Civil Society Challenge Fund is approaching. The Civil Society Challenge Fund is one of the largest grant support provided to UK-based international organizations to provide capacity development support to NGOs in South by enhancing their contribution to local and national decision-making, building linkages, undertaking global advocacy and supporting innovative service delivery.
