NGOs, private companies, public institutions, research organisations and educational institutions in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam are invited to submit proposals for the Nordic Development Fund’s Energy and Environment Partnership (EEP) program.
The EEP is a grant offering program to promote the use of renewable energy, energy efficiency and clean technologies, financed by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and the Nordic Development Fund (NDF). Its objective is to combat climate change while providing sustainable energy services to those who lack them.
Type of Project Activities
The proposed projects must be engaged in one or a combination of the following activities: Capacity Building/Training, Pre-feasibility Study, Feasibility Study, Pilot Project or Demonstration Project.
Technical Focus
The technical focus of the proposed projects must include at least one or a combination of the following technologies: Biomass, Biofuels, Biogas, Energy Efficiency/Conservation, Geothermal, Hydro power, Solar, Waste-to-Energy, Wind or Hybrid (a combination of one or more technical focuses).
Geographic Coverage
The proposed projects must be implemented in at least one of the following Mekong Partner Countries: Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Vietnam.
Duration
The project implementation period shall not be longer than 15 months as the project must be completed by 30 November 2012.
