EuropeAid is seeking proposals for Fostering Innovative Forms of Philanthropy in Local Communities to Support Sustainability of Civil Society in Croatia. The mission of this programme is to promote innovative forms of philanthropy as a support mechanism to the sustainability of CSOs and support to individual philanthropy.
Major Objectives:
- encouraging foundations and associations to get actively involved in fostering innovative forms of philanthropy in local communities
- building community based CSOs’ capacities and infrastructure for philanthropic activities
- developing multi-sector partnerships aimed at addressing social problems in the community and society
- promoting individual and corporate philanthropy in Croatia
Grant request can be made up to EUR 500.000 for the duration of not be lower than 12 months nor exceed 24 months.
Eligibility criteria:
- be a legal person
- be non-profit-making
- be non-governmental organisations (or formal networks of non-governmental organisations) of the following legal status: associations , business associations , trade unions , foundations , and legal entities of religious communities
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or a Member State of the European Economic Area, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, including Kosovo
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
