fundsforngos is once again announcing a new opportunity for NGOs to apply for a small grant of US $500 which is awarded to one organization selected by lucky draw. The objective of this grant is to raise awareness of the work that fundsforngos has been doing and help NGOs learn about various funding opportunities and other resources posted on this website.
This is a unique competition where you do not require to fill in any lengthy forms or submit a long proposal. We understand how difficult it is for small organizations to write applications forms when they are supposed to work with the communities. This contest has a small form that you can fill in few minutes and submit it online directly to us.
One organization will be selected to win this grant through lucky draw. The lucky draw will be conducted using a computer software and the winning organization will be announced by 21 June 2013.
In addition to one winner, ten additional NGOs will also be selected again by lucky draw for participating in our fundraising webinars.
All selected organizations will be required to submit proof of their nonprofit status and other documents.
The basic eligibility criteria to receive the Small Grant Prize are:
- Be a registered NGO or an active network
- Be based and active in a developing country (as classified by the IMF World Economic Outlook)
The deadline for the receipt of nominations is 10 June 2013 (23:59 GMT).
