The UNDP’s Global Environment Facility’s (GEF) Small Grants Programme has announced a call for proposals for NGOs in South Africa to develop the Country Programme Strategy (CPS) for the 6th Operational Phase (2015 – 2018).
The SGP provides non-governmental and community-based organisations with grants to enable them to tackle global environmental challenges while addressing local sustainable development needs.
Proposals will be received from civil society organisations (NGOs/CBOs) or academic institutions with expertise in landscape management, community and stakeholder participatory processes, experience with community-led initiatives as well as knowledge and experience of working in one or more of the GEF focal areas (biodiversity, climate change, land degradation international waters and chemicals).
