The Human Rights Defenders Tulip Award is an initiative of the Dutch Government and it is currently seeking nominations of individuals who have made their contribution for the promotion of human rights through peaceful ways. Human rights defenders can be from any country and they sould be facing the risk of working or must be involved in human rights contribution in the face of the negative circumstances. The human rights award can provide them with an opportunity to increase their visibility through worldwide recognition.
