  1. Dear Funders,
I will like to know if you have funding for environmental and climate change projects in Africa. presently there is a project on green schools which is seeking for funding. The aim of this project is to identify and select a suitable building in each African country, install a rain-water collection device using simple roof-top rain-water pipe-lines (vertical and horizontal), water-filters, and large water-storage-tanks of a total of up to 100,000 liters capacity, to be filed mainly during the rainy season. That would provide several hundred liters daily throughout the entire dry season, sufficient for irrigating a garden of a substantial size.
Install in the same buildings a solar-cell system that provides sufficient energy for a refrigerator, illumination, and communication devices (TV/radio/computer), to raise awareness on alternative energy, energy-management,
Install a waste water recycling technology like the reed-bed technology or terra-save for irrigation of animal-fodder
Establishment of environmental school club for girls and boys. This club will give them extracurricular activities that will help them develop extra skills related to mitigation and adaptation to climate change challenges
