Global Water Partnership looking for non-water professional from top educational or applied research establishment, international organization, international NGO and private sector have global experience for development to become a member of the Global Water Partnership Steering Committee (SC) -2011.
The Global Water Partnership is an organization which supports a non-profit global action network, supporting change processes for the sustainable management of water resources its mission is to conserve water resources at all levels.
Nomination Process:
The Nominations Committee invites to submit nominations for the global pool. Nomination can be done by self-nomination or by nomination by any member, partner or donor of GWP.
Candidates should have the internationally recognized professional and ability to contribute to helping GWP fulfills its mission and achieves its vision;
Candidate should have experience with water use/management issues in professional area of expertise like energy, industry, health, agriculture etc is desirable.
The nominees should submit their CV with maximum limit of four pages. Nominations are valid for one year only; however, unsuccessful nominees can be re-nominated.
The Nominations Committee will take into consideration candidate profiles and specific needs within the Steering Committee. The names of the candidates will be presented to the Consulting Partners in late May 2011 for finalization and presentation to the Sponsoring Partners in August 2011.
