Global Exchange will honor one human rights hero from each category (Peace, Economic Justice, Green Alternatives), who will receive $1,000 toward their work, and join the esteemed legacy of our Human Rights Awardees, including Harry Belafonte, Alice Walker, Dr. Paul Farmer and others.
Peace Category
Nominate people who have made a significant contribution to Peace. Share the stories of the extraordinary Heroes you know who expose the real cost of war, challenge war profiteering and military recruitment, build global understanding and cooperation, and more.
Green Alternatives Category
Nominate people who work to advance environmental justice in local communities and abroad. Tell us about the Heroes you know, who work to promote climate justice, advance the green economy, and encourage equal access to and participation in the green economy for all members of our communities.
Economic Justice Category
Nominate people who work to advance an economy that puts people and the planet first. Tell us about the Heroes you know whose efforts ensure that labor practices, wages, and economic policies are fair, sustainable and just.
