Local NGOs are encouraged to submit proposals for projects to be implemented in their own countries while international organizations can propose projects for regions, covering more than one country. Local NGOs can contact the American Embassy also for more details about this RFP. Organizations can apply through the US Government’s single grant channel, by visiting the website: http://www.grants.gov (Reference: International Programs to Combat Human Trafficking). However, applying organizations need to ensure that they are registered at the website prior to applying and registration process here itself takes 2-3 weeks. Alternatively, they can also submit proposals electronically at GTIP2009Proposals@state.gov.

Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Laos, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Thailand.
European Region:
Albania, Moldova and Montenegro.
Near East Region:
Egypt, Jordan and Iraq.
South and Central Asian Region:
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Kyrgyz Republic, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Western Hemisphere:
Brazil, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico and Peru.
