The European Journalism Centre (EJC) is currently inviting journalists for its Innovative Development Reporting (IDR) Grant programme. The Grant is supported by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
The project aims to reward quality journalism and advance a new and distinctive agenda for development coverage through awarding funding to a selection of state-of-the-art reporting projects of great impact and high visibility.
Award Information
$1,785,000 will be awarded to innovative journalistic projects centered on global development topics.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible:
- journalists of any nationality must be a partner with an eligible media.
- journalists have to be at least 18 years old.

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea Republic of, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States.
