AIMS AND OBJECTIVES- Working for betterment of old aged elders and disabled people of the society. So far we have registered about 42 nos. of old aged (senior citizens) and disabled people. For them we have arranged their accommodation (day care), furniture, recreational items (audio- visual), exercise equipments, library ( books and news papers) indoor games equipments, helper, etc. with our own resources . With the result we have succeeded to reach upto needy people.
Our society took pain to provide old aged / widow/ disabled pension from govt to needy people. We have all records with us.
We are providing medical aids to old and needy people with our own resources.
The need of the time and our dreams are to look after the senior citizens and disabled. For which we have planned to conduct 5 days capsule programmes for them , in which we will cater for trauma counseling, stress management, precautions for disaster management, capacity building, outdoor study tours, visits to some religious places nearby and arranging picnics for them. They will be taken out on hired vehicles. Food etc will be provided to them. To start with we have planned to conduct 10 courses per year, for which Rs.50,000 per course will be needed. The estimate is attached herewith.
In second part we are keen to arrange a rehabilitation camp, in which the disabled people will be distributed aids like wheel chairs, hearing aids and other items of need. For which I will seek help to prepare list of essential items from a medical officer.
In the third phase we are keen to run a hostel for them, for which I will submit a detailed budget later, (as and when needed).
