Arba Minch Rehabilitation Center (AMRC) Arba Minch, Ethiopia Arba Minch SNNPRS Ethiopia 251-046-881-0564 amrc[AT]ethionet.et AMRC has a mission to ensure life improvement of PWDs living in SNNPRS in particular and ETHIOPIA in general through provision of basic rehabilitation services, facilitation of social and economic inclusion and improving mobility of CWDs and PWDS there by to create access to educational facilities. To improve the income of PWDs

• To improve the participation of PWDs in the institutions of the society
• To change the attitudes of the communities towards PWDs
• To reduce the incidence of disability in the target areas
• Better employment opportunity for PWDs
• Reduced physical barriers to PWDs
• Improved awareness of the community on the causes and effect of disability, means of prevention and right of PWDs

1. Provision of basic education for children with different disabilities
2. promote vocational training and IGA
3. Facilitate credit and saving
4. Conducting disability and IE awareness
5. Provision of orthosis and prosthesis services
6. Provision of preventive gymnastic and physiotherapy services
7. Provision of medical aids
8. Conduct joint actions with networking groups
9. Assisting SHGs, DPOs, & SNEU
10. Carry out capacity building activities for the staff
11. Conduct training and workshop on different preventive methods of disabilities
12. Protect legal and human rights of PWDs
13. Sponsoring PWDs for medication and surgery for detail activity schedule including time schedule refer Appendix 6 with regard to inclusion of the poor in the project, AMRC will use its selection criteria such as
