The Sasakawa Peace Foundation Grants for Global peace will open on 1 April 2015 for the financial year 2015-2016. The foundation calls for projects which promote international understanding, exchange, and cooperation, and must accord with program policy of SPF.

- Promotion of Mutual Understanding between Priority Regions and Japan
Sasakawa Peace Foundation Grant Money
- There is no upper limit for the grants. However, for the majority of projects the foundation has supported in the past, the yearly budget per project has been between US$ 20,000 and US$100,000.
Grant Period
- SPF awards grants annually for a period of 1 year to 3 years.
Eligibility Criteria
Nonprofit organizations and Voluntary organizations are eligible to apply for grants. Applications are accepted regardless of nationality.
