Edge Hill University is seeking applications for High Achievers Undergraduate Scholarships for which courses are offered by the University.
Eligible students joining a full-time undergraduate degree in academic year 2013/14, who achieve 320 UCAS points (ABB at A level, DDM in QCF BTEC Extended Diploma, DDM in NQF BTEC National Diploma, or equivalent) in their final exams (from one type of qualification taken at one sitting in the year of application) will receive a High Achievers Scholarship.
£1,000 (paid over the first year of study).
Eligibility-
- 20 UCAS tariff points must be achieved, in one sitting in the year of application, from three final A level grades (ABB or above, or equivalent), QCF BTEC Extended Diploma (DDM), NQF BTEC National Diploma (DDM), or a HEFCE-recognized equivalent qualification. Please note, only BTEC qualifications attracting a final triple-graded award will be eligible. A combination of grades achieved in different types of qualifications, e.g. BTEC and A level, will not be considered.
- The scholarship is only open to Edge Hill applicants from the UK, EU, Isle of Man and Channel Islands;
- Direct Entry applicants are excluded
- Applicants must be applying to study a full time undergraduate degree (excluding program with tuition fees paid by the Department of Health or Strategic Health Authority)
- Applicants rewarded for outstanding examination results through the National Scholarship Program will not receive a High Achievers Scholarship.
How to apply?
There is no application process for the High Achievers Scholarship. Prospective students will be automatically assessed against the eligibility criteria outlined above. Successful candidates can expect the £1,000 award to be paid in two installments over the first year of the programme. Payments will be made at the end of January and the end of June.
