Europe Aid is inviting proposals for the ‘Consolidation of the Justice System in Albania’ Grant Program 2014. The major aim of the grant program is to strengthen the independence, transparency, efficiency, accountability and public trust in the Albanian justice system in line with the EU acquis and best practices.
Aimed at improving the organizational, administrative, technical and resource management capacities, as well as the case management capabilities of the judiciary in order to improve courts efficiency and their transparency; aligning the Albanian criminal justice system and civil and administrative justice system to EU standards; Europe aid seeks proposals from Government department, public body, or relevant mandated body of a Government department or public body authority of a European Union Member State (individually or in partnership).
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicant must be a competent Government Department, Public body, or relevant mandated body of a Government Department or public body authority of a European Union Member State in the fields related to this action established in a member state of the EU.
- Applicant must be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
- The proposed action must take place in Albania.
