Europe Aid is inviting proposals from Civil Society organizations in Georgia, member state of European Union (EU) or in European Economic Area (EEA) for ‘Neighborhood Civil Society Facility 2013’ Action Program Grant 2014. The main objective of the grant opportunity is to support civil society organizations in developing their capacities to engage in policy dialogue on the national level with the executive and/or legislative branches of power, in one of these areas – public finance management and increased budget transparency, decentralization, issues relevant to internally displaced persons, and energy.
The indicative budget for Neighborhood Civil Society Facility 2013 Call for Proposal is €1,050,000.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must be legal, non-profit making person in civil society organizations, including non-governmental non-profit organizations and independent foundations, think tanks, community based organizations, and private sector nonprofit agencies, institutions and organizations, and networks4 thereof at local, national, regional and international level or educational institutions, research organizations, and networks thereof at local, national, regional, and international level or international and regional inter-governmental organizations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing rules to the EC Financial Regulation.
- Applicant must be established in Georgia or in a member state of the EU, or in the EEA.
- Applicant must be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with their partners, not acting as an intermediary and must be established for at least two years at the time of the publication of ‘this’ Call for Proposals, as documented by the organization’s registration documents.
