The United Nations (UN) considers the role of civil society including NGOs as significant towards the achievement of its goals. Every year it launches several programs that offer grants and fellowships to organizations and individuals to create strong partnerships for bringing about social change.
In fact, the UN also has an NGO branch where NGOs can formally enter into a ‘consultative status’ with the UN and get involved in various international conferences and policy dialogues.
In this document, we have identified and listed top funding and partnership opportunities for NGOs via various programs which are announced throughout the year. Many of these programs have deadlines which may have closed now. But as these opportunities open every year, it is good to keep a record of them so that you can follow up at the right time and apply for the grants.
