Objective:
The goal of this project is to engage youth in sports activities to foster a healthy lifestyle, deter drug use, and provide them with an outlet for their energy and creativity.
Description:
CSAD will partner with local schools, clubs, and community centers to establish and promote sports programs. These programs will not only provide a healthy alternative to drug use but also a platform to instill teamwork, discipline, and perseverance in the youth – qualities that help resist drug involvement.
Additionally, sports mentors and coaches will be trained to identify signs of drug abuse among participants and provide them with the necessary support and referrals. CSAD will also organize regular community events and competitions to promote sports and its benefits widely.
Outcome:
Through participation in sports, youth will have an active, healthy way to spend their time and a platform to develop life skills. The project aims to see a reduction in drug use rates among the youth and an increase in sports participation at a community level.
