Organisational Background

The Organisation is national NGOs which was registered with Humanitarian Aid commission (HAC) and Ministry of legal affairs (MLA)  in Sudan organisation is not religious or political or commercial organization it is basically  humanitarian  organization whose vision is to promote peace , Development and unit among the indigenous  community ordering Empowerment for all” among the deferent community in Sudan and outside Sudan has able to acquire sufficient community goodwill that will  enable to implement best  future activities smoothly. in addition, the organization has competent and experience staffs as well as equipped coordination office in Sudan.)

The vision of the organisation is peace, Development and uniting the peace capacity building and Empowerment for all’ among the deferent ethnic groups in Sudan. The organization is fully committed to its mission to implementing the best future activities and is realistic if supported by all stakeholders in this conflict and this serves as guiding principle to all organisations, Initiative in rural area as well as urban locations. The organisation believes in contributing towards peace development and community empowerment for all by undertaking innovative initiative in following sectors in Sudan as is staple activities and objects to be implemented. The objective of the organisation is to give skills to the youth, women, employees and vulnerable groups through trainings, to advocate for gender equity, promote the spirit of self-reliance, provide safe clean water, promote agriculture and livelihood among the communities in Darfur, promote the spirit of self-reliance etc. and many more.

Project Description

Huge number of youth in Sudan were affected by the ordeal conflicts of Darfur and arduously problem and assigned disasters by Darfur Rebel, Sudanese Government of rescue who fight against inhumanity and injustice rotating among the three Darfur state, we assessed particularly to come up with youth minded -mission  ideas which resulted from the Wars of Darfur in the past years that many youths of different sites beside the nyala environs hopeless to stay with their families members due to more responsibilities of the families put on young man or young lady and more complaining sometimes as we found some more youth seeking to get ride from the families and  think to be useless sometime he will lead himself to the destitution with non-shelter Nonhealth, non-food only stay thinking to psychology more slings (brother, sisters ) has dead in the conflicts of Darfur. In the depth of the Conflict many youths had refugeed to another countries and stayed couple of years been matching with foreign culture not being known or used before for the families in the places where thy have been burns or being of indigenous community. You will always find youth who the one will be scolded away from the youth social community or other integration.

Adolescents face multiple risks during emergency situations and are targeted for violence, abuse and exploitation. They are the primary target for sexual violence and commercial sex among each other and run a high risk of HIV/ AIDS infection. Despite these evident vulnerabilities, the adolescent age group is the least likely to receive awareness on HIV/AIDS or prevention/assistance. This is because humanitarian assistance has typically focused on the urgent health and nutrition needs of under-five children not for Adolescents who are above 14-18 age groups not offered fully awareness or services reception. Adolescent participation is key to adolescent protection as it provides them the opportunity to infuse their creativity and ideas into the process of finding effective solutions. 

Project Objective

• To promote full participation of youth in the cultural, Economical, Political and social life of their community are also strongly encouraged among the community themselves.
• To strengthen the youth capacity of local culture and create access to life-saving skills for underserved and vulnerable groups.
• To increase access equity on youth and Gender /youth rights among the community.
• To give access and empower girls to prevent and respond to Gender Violence through training and total awareness with youth among the cultures and social life of the community.

Activities

• Enhancing youth capacity on the vitality of their tribal culture and total awareness in youth right through training (what, is the culture and the vitality.
• Strengthening information sharing among the members of youth defenders/units sub cluster and security agencies aimed at enhancing the advocate and enlightens situation for the youth both, Boys and Girls in IDPs camps sites and host community including areas of returns
• Train 5 youth societies on youth culture owns tribal culture development and culture vitality to deliver the message for the community member in the site
• Enhancing Youth capacity on, from the hindered culture and foreigner culture exchange through awareness and youth friendly space dealing through conversations, communication from different tribe and culture of Family and the culture of the community Site
• Establishing Youth Friendly Space (YFS) in every area in the town in order to defend about the Youth issues and right among the community and social life
• Increase capacity to distribute information on youth right violation to be witnessed by the field and youth workers for and CBOs.
• Improve continual and constant of being youth with fully participation, making decision and information sharing with others not to scold away from the community side while with an emphasis in Gender girls, Boys are all same
• Developing existing old ideas to new ideas and making positive thinking and successful ideas among the youth boys and Girls in XXXXXX locality
• Develop HIV/AID awareness among the Adolescents Boys, Girls IDPs returnees effected by ordeal conflicts (HIV/AIDS prevention awareness
• Provide the youth introductory education such (English, Language, France, Computer basic training and computer advance training) to learn how to search and develop his/her culture and try to suggest with other and exchange with international friend culture and ordinary national life of theirs and his from every where
• Strengthening and build the capacity of the Youth Members total youth Awareness and Total hygiene approaches and facilities
• To reduce the Grave and to raise general awareness child protection issues including UXOs and preventing recruitment of any child,
• Create community-based protection system and continue and expand monitoring system and reporting mechanism on Grave Child Right Violation
• Establishing children and youth Clubs in XXXXXX locality

Outcomes

• Youth member and youth committees are trained to lead the youth issues and Right and to defend for the youth and children and aware on hygiene approach and facilities
• Youth Grave reduced and raised general awareness and child protection including a preventing recruitment of any youth boys and girls
• Community youth-based protection system is created and continue and expanded monitoring and reporting mechanism on Grave youth, child Right Violation
• Children and youth Clubs in XXXXXX locality is established and linked the youth and child and led and exchange culture through TV. Film, Video
• Provided the youth introductory education and learned how to search and develop his/her culture and intervened the suggest with other and exchanged with international friend culture and ordinary national life of theirs an

Strategy

The project strategy will be mostly by  encouraging active youth participation in the implementation, planning and decision making while implementing the project, the communities will be given equally chances in making decisions and there will be exchange visit the ideas and culture form tribe to anther of XXXXX locality and surrounding   in the project areas which may create a ground for restoration of Trust and confident, there will be a formation of the youth Societies and child and youth Club committees which supports the peace building and encouraging joint use of the social life of different tribe and community   there by promote community level reconciliation through the restoration of trust and confidence, the project strategy will mainly be supporting and strengthening the capacity of the youth  leaders and other key stake holders effected by  conflict and tension  mitigation , prevention.

All the implemented initiatives have at least 50 % women representation, for changing and appreciate the new envisage of youth which will joint and conjunction programs the representation must be higher at 50% women. we also consider women first especial when it comes to the issue of selecting beneficiaries, organisation also organizes gender sensitive workshops and trainings on monthly bases to raise awareness on issues such as GBV, women voice in the family decision making, sexual exploitations, domestic violence, women hygiene statues and women economic empowerments.

This project will incorporate environmental consideration through youth environmental awareness rising and trainings, tree plantation programs and introduction of fuel-efficient stove for the most vulnerable youth and underserved   in the target areas to avoid over dependence on the fire wood as an alternative means of cooking and encourage home steady tree planting to mitigate environmental losses. The introduction of the alternative building techniques using the available limited local material within the community.

Implementation and Partnership

The board of directors maintains strategic oversight of the project mean while managing director and program manager coordinates day-to-day management of the programs. The youth and peace building expertise, and gender officers   reports to the program manager, while the finance manager coordinates their activities with managing director and program manager before reporting to the board of directors who finally submit a report to the UNICEF, the youth mobilizers reports to the community development officers who collects the report and submits it to the program manager.
