In our rapidly evolving global landscape, literacy remains a fundamental skill that opens doors to personal and societal growth. A solid foundation in literacy, particularly in the early years, is critical for a child’s overall development. However, not all children have equal access to resources that can foster their literacy skills, leading to disparities in educational outcomes.
To address this challenge and contribute to building a more equitable society, we propose the implementation of a Reading Mentorship Program. This initiative aims to provide targeted support for early literacy development, specifically targeting students in their formative years of schooling.
