Executive Summary
In an increasingly digital environment, access to technology and the internet is critical to academic performance. However, many children, particularly those from low-income and rural communities, face severe challenges to obtaining these resources.
The “Equitable Access” project seeks to bridge the digital divide by providing all children with the tools they need to succeed academically. This proposal addresses the program’s necessity, objectives, techniques, and expected outcomes.
Background and Need
The COVID-19 epidemic identified significant discrepancies in kids’ access to digital resources. As education shifted online, many children fell behind due to a lack of gadgets, dependable internet access, and digital literacy abilities. The digital divide exacerbates existing educational disparities and limits prospects for these children. To address this urgent issue, we propose a comprehensive program to ensure equitable access to technology and digital resources for all students.
