The objectives of this proposal are as follows:
- To identify the key challenges facing farmers and the agricultural sector, and explore how IoT and AI technologies can help address these challenges.
- To develop a framework for the integration of IoT sensors and AI algorithms into farming processes, and test this framework in a real-world setting.
- To assess the economic, environmental, and social benefits of smart farming solutions, and demonstrate their potential to improve crop yields, reduce waste, and optimize resource use.
- To promote the adoption of smart farming solutions by farmers and other stakeholders, and provide training and technical assistance to support their implementation.
- To evaluate the scalability and replicability of smart farming solutions, and develop recommendations for their widespread adoption in agriculture.
By achieving these objectives, we hope to contribute to the development of more sustainable and efficient farming practices, while also promoting the adoption of IoT and AI technologies in agriculture.
By leveraging these technologies, we can work towards a more food-secure and environmentally sustainable future, while also supporting the livelihoods of farmers and rural communities.
