The objectives of this proposal are as follows:
- To increase awareness and understanding of agroforestry systems among farmers, policymakers, and other stakeholders.
- To provide training and technical assistance to farmers interested in adopting agroforestry practices, including tree planting, soil conservation, and crop management.
- To promote the economic benefits of agroforestry, such as increased crop yields, diversification of income streams, and reduced risk from climate change.
- To enhance biodiversity and ecosystem services in agricultural landscapes through the integration of trees and other vegetation.
- To support the development of policies and programs that incentivize the adoption of agroforestry practices and promote sustainable agriculture more broadly.
