The goal of the project is to contribute to poverty reduction and improved Vocational skill amongst Female Drug Users and to enhance the quality of life of marginalized with the purpose to increase household income, and improve living conditions of FDUs and marginalized Women through Vocational skill like to improve the quality of life of women and marginalized people through Human Rights education & awareness and provision of health care services. The overall objectives of the project are to provide vocational training in tailoring and technical capacity building to enable them to run a business of FDUs women within one year with basic equipment to start a business them to become organized in community-based working units to effectively manage and run their businesses and provide them with technical, administrative and logistical support and promote their products in the market.

Background Information/Statement of the problem/Justification:
Women and girls, who are forced to get involved in various types of nefarious activities of drug peddling and trafficking and similar other activities. The condition of women and children (especially girls) is very bad. Lack of education results in large numbers of children per family, total neglect of the girl children as they are supposed to be a liability for the family.
The implementing organization already implementing other project with female drug users and identified many problem of this group and below are the highlights of issues faced by this group:
- We register around 300 female drug users. In which of them 70 women are detoxified.
- There are a lot issues among female drug users life. Such like as physical, mentally, socially economically, financially. That is why; they are not able to survive as a normal life due to stigma and discriminations toward the community.
- Female drug users are known as neglected person in our community. They bear different violence from the people, society even their families. They cannot able to give their proper attention to their children and their family.
- In our community, women are known as important part of the family. In our society, women are responsible to develop moral good values among the new generation.
- Every family based on a woman. So, we cannot ignore their social life in all over the world. That is why; they want to financially empower to run their life smoothly. For this purpose, they want to be a good health, education, skills and other source of income. So they want to be able themselves to run a proper family.
- Now some of them are interested to keep themselves busy in any work for income generation. Some of them are showing their great interest to get the vocational training for economical empowerment and to keep themselves busy,
- Detoxification is very tough process not much easier. Basically it’s a long process and has some steps including identity of female drug users, Registration of them then many counseling session on different problems, provide all the basic health facilities with proper chick up and follow up.
- After that a drug users to make a bold and mentally prepare to himself for detoxification, so, it’s a long process to take out any person from the severe condition. Now there is need to keep them busy, rather then may be most of them will be indulge in relapse causes. They demand that, they want to spend their time in getting the vocational training to keep themselves healthy physically and economically.
Objectives
The overall objectives of the project are:
- To provide vocational training in tailoring and technical capacity building to enable them to run a business of 50 FDUs women within one year.
- To provide 50 women with basic equipment to start a business them to become organised in community-based working units to effectively manage and run their businesses
- To provide them with technical, administrative and logistical support and promote their products in the market.

50 Participants were exposed to training techniques mainly designed to develop their skills and performance in Tailoring. Training topics set out to meet their training needs and to overcome their difficulties. The training was comprehensive and included all necessary topics in the mentioned subjects.
After sewing training, women became able to sew clothes for themselves and their families. Others managed to sew clothes for their community, as illustrated by the example of some women that went on to design and sew school uniforms and bridegroom dresses.
After successfully completing the training, we will provide sewing machine and material as a grant. It will help them to start a small business.

After training courses women who took part in the tailoring training received sewing machines to enable them generate incomes. 50 sewing machines were distributed for 50 women who participated in the tailoring training.

Proposed Monitoring and Evaluation Plan
Monitoring & Evaluation: Regular monitoring of the project will be done by the Organization with the involvement of the Executive Member. Quarterly reports will be provided to the Donor office with financial reports along with the necessary A/V coverage and through pictorial.
Expected Results
- 50 women have developed skills in tailoring matching standards to satisfy market demands, as well as managerial and technical capacities to run a business
- To increase the income level of beneficiary families
- FDUs women now will be able to earn and contribute toward their family’s incomes by earning through respectable ways.
- Poverty reduced as Women are healthy and Decision making improved among FDUs women
- Getting skills for income generation can help the family economically, and thus a better Society will be formed which will be a great help for the country.
