Vulnerable groups, such as the elderly, children, individuals with disabilities, and low-income families, frequently confront major challenges to achieving economic and social well-being. This proposal describes an integrated strategy to social protection that incorporates a variety of programmes and services to assist these populations.
We hope to develop a comprehensive social protection network for vulnerable populations by coordinating efforts across sectors and stakeholders. This network will secure access to necessary resources, encourage economic inclusion, and improve overall quality of life.
Background
Social protection encompasses a range of policies and programs designed to reduce poverty and vulnerability by promoting efficient labor markets, diminishing people’s exposure to risks, and enhancing their capacity to manage economic and social risks. Vulnerable populations are particularly susceptible to economic shocks, health crises, and other adversities. Effective social protection networks can provide a safety net and empower individuals to lead productive lives.
