The Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW) is inviting applicants with its Joint Excellence in Science and Humanities program (JESH) that offers scientists from selected countries the opportunity to establish new international contacts at the highest level without any restrictions concerning research fields. Incoming scientists will be able to work with outstanding researchers in Austria.
JESH is a stimulation program of the OeAW offering scientists from selected countries the opportunity to establish new international contacts at the highest level without any restrictions concerning research fields. Incoming scientists will be able to work with outstanding researchers in Austria.
The purpose of JESH is to foster collaborative research focused on highly innovative ideas by junior scientists from focus countries for which no standard funding stream is available.
JESH is open to scientists from focus countries that completed their PhD / doctoral degree within the last 10 years and have a residence and an affiliation with a research institution in their country. There is no restriction regarding the nationality of the participant.
