Foreign View International photo contest
The Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library is seeking entries from professional and amateur photographers to take part in Foreign View II International genre photo contest.
About the Contest
Foreign View is a photo project aimed at depicting the variety of social, political, cultural and other manifestations of the state in the life of citizens of different countries. Photographs of foreigners, made by Russians and photographs of Russia, made by foreigners can be submitted for the contest.
Subject Area:
Traditionally the contest is intended to present and highlight the past and the present of different countries. Wishing to look into the future, the Presidential Library has proposed a new topic for the 2011 contest – 21st Century State.
Since the beginning of 21st century, information technologies have spread all over having impacted the life of state and society, becoming a significant feature of modern times the library seeks from contestants a particular nomination: “State power and informational society”.

– People and Events
– Borders and Spaces
– State Symbols
– Customs and Traditions
– National Memorials
Genres:
Photographs submitted to the contest may be of any genre: portrait, reportage, stage photo, landscape, still life, photo collage, etc.
Contestants:
The contest welcomes professional photographers, amateurs and associations of photographers of any age and nationality.
It is up to organizers to decide whether a photo complies with the idea and topics of the contest. Submitted photographs are not reviewed, no comments can be made to the jury’s decision.
