Europe Aid is inviting proposals from non-governmental organizations and non-state actors, established in Russia or member states of European Union (EU) for ‘Non-State Actors in Development In-country Interventions Russia’ Action Grant Program 2014. The major objective of this grant program is to promote inclusive and empowered civil society in the Russian Federation by supporting initiatives of local non-state actors (NSAs) aimed at community development. The call specifically focuses on the local problems of the most disadvantaged groups of population – children, persons with disability, the elderly, women at risk, minorities, etc and encourages inclusive programs that focus on capacity building of local NSAs for community development.
The total indicative fund for Non-State Actors in Development In-Country Interventions Russia Action project is €950,000 and the duration of each project must be at least 24 months and at most 60 months.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicant must be a non-profit making, legal person from non-governmental organizations and Non-State Actors (NSA), constituted in accordance with the legislation in force in the Russian Federation and European Union (EU) established in Russia or a member state of the EU.
- Applicants must be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
- Applicants from Russia must act with at least one Russian co-applicant and the applicants from EU member state must act with at least two Russian co-applicants.
