Europe Aid is seeking proposals for Non State Actors in Development Programme in Yemen. the purpose of this program is to strengthen partnerships between NSAs and Local Authorities to fulfill the basic needs of local communities and the most vulnerable groups.
This programme also focuses to reduce poverty in the context of sustainable development, including pursuit of the Millennium Development goals (MDG) and other agreed targets by further supporting initiatives of local non state-actors aimed at community development.
Areas covered-
- Support multi-actors local coordination mechanisms by strengthening local NSA’s capacities to participate in local community plans and activities with the ultimate aim to improve representative and inclusive local governance.
- Support to vulnerable groups through improving social integration, economic empowerment and basic service delivery within their broader communities.
Grants size starts minimum from € 300,000.00 and maximum of upto € 750,000.00. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 24 months nor exceed 36 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- be Non-State Actors (NSAs)
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or Republic of Yemen.
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
