The VLIR-UOS encourages students and professionals in 54 developing countries around Africa, Asia ad Latin America to apply for training or master program in Flemish University or University College in Belgium. Selected candidates who mention they need scholarship are supported by VLIR-OUS if they fit suitable on selection criteria.
VLIR-UOS supports partnerships between universities and university colleges, in Flanders (Dutch speaking northern part of Belgium) and in the South, looking for innovative responses to global and local challenges.
Benefits
Scholarship holders for training program are provided with € 32/day allowance; several one-time payments; accommodation, insurance, international travel and tuition fee.
Scholarship holders for Master program are provided with € 860/month allowance; € 375/month accommodation allowance; f€ 62 per dependent person/month family allowance; several one-time payments; and insurance, international travel and tuition fee.
