Young Women’s Leadership Programme provides opportunities for selected candidates to develop their skills in “leadership, gender, lobbying and advocacy, management, report writing and analysis, research and documentation, information management, developing resourceful data bases, website maintenance and resource centre management.” The Programme also gives an opportunity for the candidates to work with a local women’s rights-based organization in Uganda under internship.
The total period of the internship is nine months and candidates applying for the Programme should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree with good communication skills. Applying candidates need to send a letter of application, a letter of recommendation from a credible women’s organizations along with the CV and other documents.
