Jenkins Memorial is pleased to offer funding opportunity to pursue Full-time Graduate Scholarships in the field of humanities or social sciences at Oxford University in UK.
The Jenkins Memorial Fund was established in honour of the late Lord Jenkins of Hillhead, former Chancellor of the University. The scholarships will be available for students from other Universities within the Europaeum, an association of leading European universities, who will be embarking on a course of study in the Humanities or Social Sciences in October 2013. Up to four scholarships will be awarded, and will each last 1 year.
The value of the scholarship will be around £12,900 p/a (exact amount to be confirmed) which will cover living costs.The award is tenable for one year only; candidates who are following a two year graduate degree may hold the award for the first year of their course but will be required to have other funding for the remainder of their study period.
Eligibility–
- Candidates should be applying to start a new graduate course at Oxford This scholarship is open to candidates studying for degree bearing courses, with the exception of PGCert and PGDip courses in Humanities or Social Sciences. Priority will be given to students following a one-year Master’s degree but candidates entering a two-year Master’s degree may also be considered.
- Please ensure applicant meet the requirements for entry to their course, including English language requirements.
