Are you a female student planning to pursue PhD in Social Sciences in the United Kingdom? The University of Kent is willing to cover your tuition fee at the Home/EU rate for maximum three years. The Dora Harvey Memorial Research Scholarship is available for women students who are currently applying for and will receive letter of acceptance by the scholarship deadline from one of the following schools/academic centers within the Faculty of Social Sciences in the University of Kent:
- Centre for Journalism
- Centre for Professional Practice
- Kent Business School
- Kent Law School
- School of Anthropology and Conservation
- School of Economics
- School of Politics and International Relations
- School of Psychology
- School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be women holding a Master’s degree or equivalent merit or distinction level in a relevant subject.
- Candidates must have applied for postgraduate research in the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kent, UK.
- Applicants must be full-time UK, EU and overseas fee paying students.
- Applicants must have received an offer to study in the Faculty of Social Sciences by the scholarship deadline or be a currently registered full-time PhD student at the University of Kent for the academic year 2015-16.
Application materials include – research proposal, curriculum vitae, and two academic references.
