Dynamizing Research and Education for All through Mobility in ACP Erasmus Mundus Program (DREAM ACP) is open for scholarship applications from the 12 ACP (African, Caribbean & Pacific) countries’ candidates.
Available Scholarships
- Master: students from the ACP countries willing to develop their activity in a European Partner University. The duration of a Master mobility flow can be between 10 (one academic year) and 24 (two academic years) months, depending on the duration of studies and corresponding to a monthly scholarship of 1.000 €.
- Doctorate (mobility – non-degree seeking): students from the ACP countries willing to develop their activity in a European Partner University. The duration of a PhD mobility flow is of 10 months corresponds to a monthly scholarship of 1.500 €.
- Academic and Administrative Staff from an ACP partner institution who wish to develop their activity in a European Partner University; and from a European partner institution who wish to develop their activity in an ACP Partner University. The total duration of the mobility is of 1 month, corresponding to a 2.500 € scholarship.
The selected applicants will receive a monthly scholarship according to the type of mobility they will carry out:
- Master (mobility) – 10 months – €1,000
- Full Master – 24 months – €1,000
- Doctorate (mobility) – 10 months – €1,500
- Academic and Administrative Staff – 1 month – €2,500

Eligibility Criteria
- To qualify for the exchange mobility, applicants must be enrolled in the 1st year of a Master program at the University of Origine in the ACP region and can apply for a maximum of 10 months mobility.
- To qualify for a degree-seeking mobility (full degree), applicants must have successfully completed a 1st degree (Bachelor program in the ACP region). Full degree applicants can enroll on a one year Master program, corresponding to 10 months or a two year Master course, corresponding to 24 months.
- The Application Form can be filled in English, French, Portuguese or Spanish. However, the language used to fill in the application form must agree with the institution(s) and program(s) chosen.
- Applicants must be a national of one of the eligible ACP countries.
- Applicants must have not resided nor have carried out their main activity (studies, work, etc) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the eligible European countries at the time of submitting their application to the partnership (not applicable to staff nor Target Group 3 applicants).
- Applicants must have not benefited in the past from an Erasmus Mundus scholarship for the same type of mobility.
- Applicants must have sufficient knowledge of the language of the courses or of one of the languages currently spoken in the hosting countries.
- Applicants must respect the specific and additional criteria applicable to each type of mobility (master, doctorate, academic and administrative staff).
