Education New Zealand is accepting applications from undergraduate and postgraduate Asian students for Prime Minister’s Scholarships program. The scholarship awards supports the students who want to undertake study or research.
The scholarship will support part or whole undergraduate or postgraduate degree or diploma programs in a subject area that can be linked to New Zealand’s economic or trade agenda. The support can cover costs including tuition fees, return economy class flights, accommodation, a living allowance, and medical insurance.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must be citizen of New Zealand or PR holder from minimum two years.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of taking up scholarship.
- Students pursuing education in one of the following countries are eligible to apply – Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, China, Japan, Korea, India and the Middle East.
- The program must be at least six weeks and can be up to two years.
- The supported field of study/research may be (but not limited to) business studies, law, food technology, design and languages. Trade or economic-related short-term research projects are also eligible.
