The Georgetown University School of Foreign Service invites students from Sub-Saharan Africa to secure scholarship for the Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) Program. The two-year, full-time graduate degree program in international affairs is a professionally oriented Masters’ degree program with interactive teaching and learning. The students get skills training, internship opportunities and unique, practitioner-taught workshops.
MFSF aims to prepare women and men to be creative leaders in the public, private and non-profit sectors of international affairs.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold undergraduate degree from an accredited university and a strong academic record.
- Applicants must have one set of standardized test scores – TOEFL/IELTS or GRE/GMAT.
- Applicants must have completed or have the ability to complete two courses – one in microeconomics and the next in macroeconomics before the beginning of the MSFS program in fall 2015.
- Applicants must have professional work experience in the field related to their future professional goals. Average of four years of experience before joining MSFS is desirable.
- Applicants from Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal and South Africa are given special consideration.
