Applications are accepted for Global and Area Studies with a special emphasis on peace and security in Africa to train junior researchers and professionals in globalization research. This program is offered by Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS) at Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia) and the University of Leipzig. The duration of the programme is three years.
The PhD seminars are taught completely in English. German courses in preparation of the study period in Leipzig will be offered in cooperation with the Goethe Institute in Addis Ababa.
