Partial Scholarships
The Global Bioethics Initiative is inviting students and professionals from across the world to attend the International Bioethics Summer School 2015.
The International Bioethics Summer School 2015 will take place at the Bohemian National Hall, Manhattan, New York. The Summer School will be from 15 July to July 18, 2015.
The International Bioethics Summer School is comprised of a series of morning lectures and seminars, evening events with guest speakers, field trips, and film screenings. The faculty of the Summer School is comprised of notable international scholars who will lecture and conduct the seminars on bioethics topics of international import.
Eligibility Process
The program will be presented only in English. All participants must be fluent in English. Participants do not need to have an educational background in bioethics, but they should be able to demonstrate an interest in the issues described in the educational modules.

Application Process
In order to make the Summer School Program truly global, GBI is offering several partial scholarships to students who may need financial assistance. To apply for the scholarship, please include a 300-500 word statement with the rest of your application materials describing how scholarship will benefit.
Applications are requested in the form of:
- A brief statement of interest outlining why you are interested in attending the summer school
- A resume
- A letter of recommendation from a professor, teacher, or advisor
- Most recent transcript
- Optional: published paper or article
