The International Policy Analysis Network (IPAN) in association with German Funding Agency DAAD invites scholarship applications to study Intellectual Property, Biotechnology and Law in Hessen International Summer University.
The students will be provided EUR1,000 to cover the course fee. The scholarship includes course materials and supplementary reading lists; accommodation; health, accident and liability insurance; free public transport within Giessen for the full course period; free internet access; and field trips [2 three-day trips 7 one day trip].
Eligibility Criteria:
- Postgraduates, undergraduates with some basic knowledge in the area of biotechnology, and young professionals, who want to learn about Europe’s way of dealing with the challenges of a new and developing industry such as biotechnology, and who want to gain some first-hand experience with German and European culture are eligible to apply for the scholarships.
- Applicants can be maximum 25 years of age.
- Applicants must have a background in law or technology related courses, and must have completed at least three years of his undergraduate degree. The students pursuing Masters are also eligible to apply.
- Applicants must have a demonstrated interest in IPR, technology and law, green growth and other topics of the program through publications, paper presentations, academic grades etc.
- Applicants must be fluent in English language.
