The Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke Actionaid Denmark has almost 70 years of experience with development work and our work aims to improve poor people’s conditions of life, in order for them to manage without support in the long run. The target groups are primarily women and youth.
Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke offers training to organizations around the globe. It has Global Platforms in Denmark, El Salvador, Jordan, Kenya, Myanmar, Nepal, two in Tanzania (Near Mt. Kenya and in Nairobi) and USA.
The Global Platforms aim to be a catalyst for social and political empowerment, by inspiring young people to realize their ability to positively change their lives and those of the people in their communities. Through this aim, it wants to spread our trainings and ideas in ever-widening circles with the vision of: training the world to change the world!
Some of the Global Platform trainings have the opportunity to offer a limited amount of scholarships covering the accommodation, tuition fee and food during the training. The scholarships are offered to participants with limited financial means, who would otherwise not be able to attend the training.
